Many people think that Obama is a hero and that include Mariah Carey. Mariah Carey, who had the most number one hit songs as a solo artist (she even beat Elvis) when her hit song "Touch My Body" became the 18th number one hit songs that she had, will perform her hit song "Hero" in Tuesday night's Neighborhood Ball for the Obama Inauguration.
It was reported that some ticket brokers are selling tickets to the swearing in of President-elect Barrack Obama in Washington for thousands of dollars and one of them even have the cheek to ask for a 5 figures digit ($20,095) for a single ticket. A total of 250,000 tickets are printed by the government for the 56th Presidential Inauguration which will take place in the West Front of the US Capitol in 12 noon on Jan the 20th.
Even the media queen Oprah Winfrey has moved the taping of her show to D.C. in honor for Barrack Obama's inauguration and even got herself in a private buffet dinner hosted by the President-elect at the Blair House on Sunday night.
With Obama pictures being slapped on the cover of magazines, newspapers, commemorative coins, T-shirts and even action figures, Obama, who will be the United States of America's 44th President, must be currently the biggest celebrity in the country.
