Obama has made over 500 promises during his 2008 Presidential election campaign. Many of us would like to know how many of those promises were being kept or broken so far.

That's where the Obameter comes in. It was introduced by PolitiFact, the St. Petersburg Times Obama online tracker, to keep track of Obama campaign's promises (510 promises) and the progress of his presidency. It is believed that this stunning number of promises are more than those combination promises made by Bill Clinton and George W. Bush.

So far, 6 promises are being kept, 1 compromised, 1 broken, 1 stalled, 1 in progress, 17 in progress and the rest not yet fulfilled. Guess you already know the one on directing military leaders to end the war in Iraq. For more detailed views of the rest of the promises, take a look at the Obameter.

Hmmm, so far it seemed that the President is doing quite well.
