Patrick Swayze Is Hospitalized For Pneumonia

Remember the movie Ghost? I'm sure the name Patrick Swayze will pop into your mind. Patrick Swayze was hospitalized on Friday for pneumonia. The 57-year old actor said that he is going through hell after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer early last year.

Having a stage 4 pancreatic cancer and as the cancer has spread to his liver, surgery was not an option and he has resort to chemotherapy course and took the experimental drug Vatalanib.

As chemotherapy weakens his immune system, illnesses are part and parcel that come with the treatment. Swayze is a real fighter; even though the disease has taken a heavy toll on his health and Swayze might have only 2 years to live, he still takes up the role of a FBI veteran in the TV drama "The Beast" which will be released middle of this month.
