My Heart Will Go On - the theme song for the popular movie Titanic has made Celine Dion a worldwide recognized singer icon. Every time I hear the song, Celine Dion will pop up in my mind as the singer behind it. Such powerful and clear tone vocal.

In this Chinese New Year Eve, Celine Dion gave us a big surprise by singing in Mandarin. Dressed in glittering silver gown, she rendered the classic folk song Jasmine Flower with local Chinese singer Song Zuying at the Spring Festival Party in Beijing ,China.

Though age has caught up with her as can be seen on her face, nevertheless her vocal tone remains powerful and clear. She said it only took her 5 hours to practice and master the Mandarin song which she performed over China Central Television (CCTV) variety show.






After that, she sang her super hit song My Heart Will Go On (yup, you guess it right) in English.

Celine Dion's performance has been reported to overshadow Wang LeeHom's 12 Zodiacs perofrmance in the sameCCTV show.

If it is a race to end their talk shows, I must give credit to Tyra Banks. The former supermodel turned entrepreneur announced that her current 5th season talk show is the last which should end some time in the spring of this year.

If my memory didn't fail me, Oprah mentioned last month that she was also shutting down her talk show on 9th Sep next year. Hmmm, is it some forms of mentoring act as Oprah is a mentor to Tyra Banks. Guess in this case, the one being mentored beats the mentor in pulling the curtain.

For all of Tyra's fans, you can rest assured that this won't be the last time to see her as she might be on the silver screen with her soon to be launched film production company known as Bankable Studios. What? Tyra Bank in the movies? I know she can talk but acting? Hope she would fare better than most singers and models that switched to acting and flopped! This I really have to wait to see.

To those of you who still hoping that Brittany Murphy death news was a hoax, they would be very sad to find out that the news is indeed true.

Unlike the Rick Astley death news was a hoax, Britanny Murphy has indeed passed away. She was reported to die from a sudden heart attack and was found by her mother in the shower. The cause of the heart attack? Most probably due to diabetes suffered by the 32 years old actress.

The late Britanny who had starred in many successful films such as Sin City, Just Married, Clueless Girl, Interrupted and Drop Dead Gorgeous was also a singer and started her career in Hollywood at a young age of 14. Her hit song Faster Kill Pussycat was number one on Billboard's Hot Dance Club Play and made the top ten list in the UK single charts.

We'll get a glimpse of her acting in the latest Sylvester Stallone movie, the Expendables, early next year.

If my info is correct, she will get married to Jared Kushner on the 25th of this month. Hmm, who is he? How do they met? Perhaps on some business dealings?
